  • Llamas can understand humans and perform simple tasks.
  • They live in herds and can even “adopt” groups of sheep or goats, treating them as their own.
  • Humming is one of their communication methods. Llamas often hum to their young, talking to them this way.
  • Llama fleece is very soft and warm yet lightweight. Their undercoat is used to make clothing and blankets, while the coarser outer wool is used for rugs and ropes.
