Habitat: widely distributed in Pakistan, USA, India, Malaysia, and UAE. Gulaabi goats are also bred in some farms in Russia.

Diet: straw, root vegetables, hay, silage, compound feed, fresh vegetables, bran, corn, oats, barley, oak and birch twigs.

• Breeders claim that the Gulaabi goat can think and understands human commands, behaving similarly to cats.

• The word “Gulaabi” means “pink” in Urdu.

• The skin of Gulaabi goats is very sensitive to sunlight and prone to burns, so outdoor grazing in sunny weather should be organized under shaded shelters.

• In the USA, Gulaabi goats are often kept on small family farms as pets due to their distinctive friendliness.
