Gestation period: Approximately 70 days

Lifespan: Up to 10 years, but with proper care, some individuals can live beyond a decade.

Habitat range: The guinea pig originates from South America and is found in Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Paraguay, and Bolivia.

Diet: The main diet consists of fresh greens, hay, and juicy foods (apples, lettuce, mature carrots, beets, etc.)
