Color: The plumage can be shades of bronze, black, white, and other colors.

Age of sexual maturity: Male turkeys begin to mature sexually at 6 months and finish by 8-9 months. Female turkeys begin to mature at 26 weeks and finish by 30 weeks.

Incubation period: 28 days

Lifespan: about 10 years

Habitat: The common turkey originates from North and Central America.

Diet: Grain, greens, vegetables, meat or fish scraps, bran
