Coloration: brown capuchins have dark brown or black fur with a lighter belly and chest. Their face and ears are usually lighter, creating a contrast with the dark fur.

Lifespan: around 25 years

Range: Central and South America, from Honduras to Brazil

Diet: fruits, nuts, seeds, insects, small vertebrates, and bird eggs
